Serena Molloy shortlisted for the KPMG Children’s Ireland Book Awards 2024

Serena Molloy’s wonderful debut Wider Than The Sea has been shortlisted for the KPMG Children’s Book Awards 2024. She is in illustrious company with Eoin Colfer also on the shortlist.

Wider Than The Sea is a novel in verse about a young girl’s struggle with dyslexia. Writing in Irish Times magazine, Patricia Forde, Laureate na nÓg (Ireland's Children's Laureate) called it “A gentle and moving story of friendship, hope and self-discovery ... celebrates neurodiversity and the power to change”.
