Sara O’Keeffe is a Literary Agent with Aevitas Creative Management in London and New York.

I represent literary, reading group and genre fiction authors for Aevitas Creative Management, a US-UK literary agency. I am based in London but hail originally from Waterford, Ireland.

Before becoming an agent, I worked as a successful publisher for twenty years. I was the UK editor for Kevin Kwan’s international bestseller, Crazy Rich Asians along with Robert Ludlum’s hugely successful Bourne series. I acquired and published the bestselling cult hit Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell which spent six weeks at the top of the New York Times bestseller list. I was also fortunate enough to work with bestselling authors Minette Walters and Elizabeth Buchan. During my time as a publisher, I took particular pleasure in championing Irish voices and I continue to do that today as an agent. You’ll find a number of very talented Irish authors on my client list.

As an agent, I love working closely with writers to polish and revise their work ahead of submission. This editorial insight and experience can be invaluable to authors, especially at the start of their careers.
