Melanie Maure is a psychotherapist who specializes in trauma and holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. Her debut novel, Sisters of Belfast, is a multi-generational upmarket drama set between Ireland and Newfoundland. It sold on pre-empt to Harper Fiction, an imprint of Harper Collins US.
Melanie has published numerous reflective essays and pieces in HuffPost, Elephant Journal, Medium, and Vocal. She is a certified Gateless Writing Coach and enjoys assisting other writers to develop their work. Melanie draws on fifteen years of experience as a psychotherapist to create and explore the complex internal struggles of her characters. She lives in British Columbia, Canada.
