José Alvior

Named after his grandfathers, José Daniel Alvior was born and raised in Manila, the Philippines, at the peak of the military dictatorship. By the time he was fourteen, he had experienced a revolution, a major earthquake and a catastrophic volcanic eruption. In early 2000 he fulfilled his lifelong dream to move to New York where he has worked as a freelance writer and content developer. He recently relocated to Bath Spa, England.

He has just completed his first novel, Seven Days in Tokyo – an ode to a great city, and to love.
